Meet Leslie Hadley

Leslie Hadley, R.Y.T. is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Teachers Alliance, certified Thai Yoga Massage practitioner and Reiki Master.

Leslie was introduced to yoga in 1995 to relieve stress, heal numbness in her legs, improve flexibility and reduce back pain, while enjoying inner peace. The practice of yoga was impressive and the results were phenomenal. The positive results of yoga led Leslie to the path of other healing modalities such as Reiki to include teaching Reiki to others, Thai massage, reflexology, acupressure, aromatherapy, and most recently IET. (Integrated Energy Therapy) Leslie has formal training in the healing modalities listed and combines the various techniques during private healing sessions.

In 1999, Leslie's passion for her own yoga practice grew into the joy of teaching, when she completed her first Hatha Yoga certification at Yoga Haven in New York. This style blends the flow of poses with the awareness of alignment. In May 2003, she completed a second certification in Dharmic Yoga, specializing in anatomy and self awareness. Most recently, Leslie has studied with Bobbi Goldin who is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. With well over 500 hours of yoga training, Leslie continues to enhance her studies by attending advanced workshops with highly trained famous yoga teachers, located throughout the country.

Leslie continues to expand her teaching abilities and has taught yoga to various sports teams to include the U.S. row team, golfers, runners, pitchers and catchers... She is trained to teach yoga to infants with their parents assistance, loves the fun of teaching children of all ages. On the other side of the spectrum, she teaches yoga to seniors in the chair and on the mat. In the middle of both groups, there are adults! Leslie continuously learns and loves to share her joy with her students, whether she is teaching vinyasa flow, Iyengar style, prenatal or restorative yoga classes.

Leslie previously worked as a Quality Manager and Liaison for international relocation companies before she embarked on her new career path of healing to include Yoga, Reiki and Thai massage. She enjoys teaching various techniques of yoga and meditation to corporate employees and teachers because she knows that they will feel more focused, flexible in both mind and body and create a calmer environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Leslie is thankful for the gifts of yoga, Reiki and other healing modalities and loves sharing this joy with others.

I really enjoy Leslie’s Yoga Classes. Each class is different, never boring and always challenging. If there are new students in the class, Leslie can tailor the class for the new students and keep it challenging for the existing students. I always feel that I have worked hard and that my muscles are loose and relaxed at the end of a class. Leslie makes every yoga class fun and enjoyable!

I LOVED prenatal yoga with Leslie. It was phenomenal for mind, body, spirit and sanity!

Thank you SO MUCH for everything... when I see my two beautiful boys, I often think of how wonderful the pre-natal yoga days were for me.... and for them! Thank you for providing that gift to us. Namaste,
Mary Jo Mitchell, Prenatal Yoga

"Leslie's Iyengar yoga classes are truly unique. Her soothing yet encouraging style has helped me reach levels of difficulty that I would not have believed possible. She has a rigorousness & discipline that is gently tempered with humor, spirituality & a never-ending variety. Having practiced yoga for over 8 years I can honestly say that Leslie is a profoundly gifted teacher & her classes are the highlight of my week. Thanks to Leslie I am in the best shape of my life!"
Mickey Graham, Princeton, NJ

"I have been practicing yoga since the late 1980’s. Leslie is the best yoga teacher I have found, especially because her background knowledge is large and she can personalize every person’s practice. I have also experienced Thai massage and Reiki healing sessions with her; she has become an essential part of my effort to stay fit and healthy."
Keith Voos, North Brunswick, NJ

"I started taking Iyengar style as well as vinyasa yoga lessons from Leslie over three years ago. Each session has truly enriched my Mind, Body and Spirit. She tailors every lesson to the needs of her students at that moment. No lesson is ever the same - or boring! The asana - postures - are thoroughly explained with gentle attention to proper alignment. Beginners or more advanced students receive the same expert guidance. Yoga on the Ball a great workshop; working on your core strength and balance while discovering new dimensions of traditional yoga postures. Thai massage with Leslie is truly relaxing and restorative. Muscles and joints are gently stretched and maneuvered, releasing tension and tightness."
Elizabeth Roselius, Allentown, NJ

"Leslie Hadley is the best yoga instructor I have ever had. She challenges you, encourages you, and helps you do more than you ever thought possible. Her classes are always interesting, always surprising. Leslie is also observant, and has frequently made comments about physical issues that had not quite surfaced for me. If you are interested in what yoga could do for you, go to one of her classes you will be hooked. I guarantee it."
Mary Curtis Horowitz Princeton, New Jersey

"Intelligent, intuitive, with integrity, and an integrative approach to teaching and healing: this is how I would describe Leslie Hadley. She is a multi-facetted and experienced teacher of yoga, capable of coordinating a flow yoga style with Iyengar discipline, and adaptable enough to give classes to children -- even those with disabilities -- to adults -- even seniors who practice with chair yoga-- to expectant mothers, or stressed-out individuals who can benefit from restorative yoga. Her classes are never routine; Leslie adapts her classes to her students very knowingly, and one is never ever bored or disappointed. She is a fount of information and is able to bring whatever is necessary to bear whether providing a reiki session, a Thai massage, IET or raindrop therapy. Leslie listens, she guides, she energizes. She is thorough, gives attention to detail, and is generous with her time and talents. She never stops learning and she consistently passes on to her students and clients the benefits of what she has received. I take classes regularly each week with Leslie, and have done so for years, following her from one studio to another and to her office and elsewhere. I have taken a variety of wonderful workshops with her, been helped with Thai massage, and often with reiki to the point of even being attuned by her in this healing practice. Come take a class, receive a therapeutic session, and experience the benefits of working with this unique and giving teacher."

"I just wanted to let you know that the nurses were all very impressed with my breathing during the labor and delivery. I definitely give your class the credit. It really helped me through labor and delivery."
Kim Perilo, Prenatal Yoga

Leslie Hadley is a calming force in both yoga class and birthing room. Her gentle touch with reiki minimized the pain of contractions during early labor and her nurturing manner was very encouraging as the contractions intensified and it was time to push. The breath and relaxation techniques taught in prenatal yoga were helpful during birth to maintain focus. My birth experience was beautiful and empowering and I have Leslie Hadley to thank for that.
